If you are looking for something different to do, then the Midland Railway – Butterley might just be the place you are looking for!

Experience the way travel used to be with a train ride through the wonderful Derbyshire countryside on one of the Midland Railway – Butterley’s heritage Diesel Multiple Units. These trains have really large windows and so there is an excellent view all round. Plus you can see into the cab and see the driver in action, as well as the track ahead.

Trains depart from Butterley at:  11.00am, 11.50am, 12.40pm, 2.00pm & 2.50pm.

Enjoy a warming hot drink in Butterley Tea Room – FREE with every train ticket. Plus there will be opportunities to indulge yourself with a tempting treat.

You can also take advantage of a SALE in the shop at Butterley, offering genuine reductions on many items.

Please note:  The Swanwick Junction Museum Complex is closed to visitors today.
