The 1970’s and 80’s make a comeback at Swanwick junction as the Morris Marina Owners Club and Ital Register join us with their cars of yesteryear for their 2022 national rally show and shine day. There will be examples of Marinas and Itals from across the range along with their commercial derivatives on display.
Train Travel
Experience the way travel used to be with a train ride through the wonderful Derbyshire countryside on one of the Midland Railway – Butterley’s heritage Diesel Multiple Units. These trains have really large windows and so there is an excellent view all round. Plus you can see into the cab and see the driver in action, as well as the track ahead.
Trains depart from Butterley at: 11.00am, 11.50am, 12.40pm, 2.00pm, 2.50pm & 3.45pm
Get off the train at Swanwick Junction and explore the Museum Complex, where you will be able to visit the Demonstration Signal Box, Victorian Railwayman’s Church and the Country Park. Other attractions may also be open.
Trains return from Swanwick Junction at: 11.35am, 12.25pm, 1.15pm, 2.35pm, 3.25pm & 4.00pm.
