Join us on Sunday 14th July for a great day out for all of the family. The festival of transport will delight people of all ages.

LMS 3F 16440 & BR Class 44 D4 ‘ Great Gable’ will both be in action as Top & Tail formation.

The arena of the Swanwick Junction museum complex will be filled with an array of visiting road vehicles, together with our resident collection, demonstrating the changes through time of a wide variety of road transport. There should be something to interest everyone, with vehicles from the 1920s to a more modern period.

Trains will depart from Butterley at: 11.00am, 12:15, 13:30, 14:45 & 16:00

Please note that all locomotives are offered subject to availability and we cannot guarantee that a particular locomotive or steam services will be operating.

Visitors arriving for the 16:00 departure will not be able to explore the museum complex at Swanwick Junction. We recommend arriving at Butterley no later than 13:30 if you wish to look round at Swanwick Junction.

Trains will return to Butterley from Swanwick Junction at: 11:50, 13:05, 14:30, 15:35, 16:45

Parking at Butterley Station is FREE.
