Indietracks Music Festival

Indietracks is a unique three day summer music festival which combines heritage trains and indiepop music.
Around 50 indiepop bands from across the globe will be playing across four stages at Indietracks: the outdoor stage; the indoor stage, the church and on the steam trains themselves. The festival will also host a range of art and craft workshops and a selection of discos after the bands finish.
Visitors are free to enjoy train rides, railway attractions and museums, discos, art and craft workshops, great food and a wide selection of real ales.
The narrow gauge Golden Valley Light Railway will be operating during this event. Please note a separate fare is payable on this railway.

Non Indietracks Ticket Holders – The site will be open to non Indietracks ticket holders on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th July only (NOT on Friday 26th July) however certain areas will be restricted. There will still be full access to facilities Butterley Station, however no access to Demonstration Signal Box, Outdoor Children’s Play Area and Victorian Railwayman’s Church at Swanwick Junction.

Departures from Butterley Station will be at: 10:30, 10:55*, 11:20, 12:00, 12:25*, 12:50, 13:30, 13:55*, 14:20, 15:00, 15:25*, 15:50, 16:30, 16:55* and 17:20.
* = To Swanwick Junction only. Departures in bold are the main service train, which we recommend non Indietracks ticket holders to travel on.
