Step back in time and experience Midland style and travel as it would have been over 100 years ago, as the restored vintage carriages are brought out of the museum to operate train services for visitors.
Midland Railway Trust volunteers will be on the vintage trains in period costume to add to the atmosphere and answer your questions and for children there’s a special vintage themed I-Spy competition. Plus, the newly renovated for 2021 beach at Swanwick!

Visitors in Victorian costume travel at half price. All of the usual attractions will be open.
Please note: Passengers travelling on the later departure from Butterley will not have time to explore the Swanwick Junction museum complex.
