The Midland Railway-Butterley is actively looking for Volunteers to assist within our on-site shops at Butterley and Swanwick Junction Stations. The person needs to be reliable, punctual, customer focussed and enjoy dealing with visitors.
The role requires a friendly service, ability to work accurately on the till (training provided) and making eye contact with every customer you come into contact with. Candidate should be able to demonstrate initiative and have the ability to work well as part of a team or alone.
Shop staff will be expected to build up product knowledge and stock checking & rotation are also part of this role.
Volunteers are required at weekends and during school holidays on a flexible basis.
