Back by popular demand, join us as we step back to the 1980s at the Midland Railway – Butterley on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th June.
Visitors will be met with a feel of the 80s as they arrive at Butterley Station and take the train to the Swanwick Junction site.

This year we are joined by a Johnny 5 replica and also have 80s theme arcade with retro arcade games of the era, 80s disco and 80s movie trailer and adverts show in the Church.
Plus, we have a special selection of models from the 1980s show Tugs.

Traction for the weekend:-
We can now confirm four DMU’s will be in operation next weekend, 141113, 142011 & 142013 will run as a 6 car Pacer set alongside the Class 108 LO262 operating an intense two train service.

Our other attractions will be open at Swanwick Junction which include, children’s play area, Victorian Railwayman’s Church, the West Shed, stationary power, road transport, forklift museum, diesel shed, Butterley park miniature railway, Golden Valley light railway and the Country Park.
