Join us on Sunday 16th July for a great day out for all of the family. The festival of transport will delight people of all ages.
The arena of the Swanwick Junction museum complex will be filled with an array of visiting road vehicles, together with our resident collection, demonstrating the changes through time of a wide variety of road transport. There should be something to interest everyone, with vehicles from the 1920s to a more modern period.
Booking forms to attend this event with a vehicle will be available can be downloaded here. All attending vehicles must be pre-booked. Unfortunately we can not accept non-booked vehicles on the day.
Trains will depart from Butterley at: TBC
Please note that all locomotives are offered subject to availability and we cannot guarantee that a particular locomotive or steam services will be operating.
Visitors arriving for the 15:20 departure will not be able to explore the museum complex at Swanwick Junction. We recommend arriving at Butterley no later than 14:00 if you wish to look round at Swanwick Junction.
