Take a trip down memory lane as we display a selection of original characters models, production props and more from the 1980’s children’s TV series TUGS.
On Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th April 2025, there will be displays at both Butterley and Swanwick Junction including a Spot The Tug trail and activity area.
There is also planned to be 2 new items revealed on the Saturday for the very first time.
On the Sunday all the character models will be together for a one off photo opportunity.
Vintage bus rides across Swanwick Junction site will be provided by Midland Road Transport Group.
O&K 7529 will be providing steam hauled services with ALR No 4 coach on the trains.
There will also be a brass band playing on the Sunday.

Get off the train at Swanwick Junction and explore the Museum Complex, where you will be able to visit the Demonstration Signal Box, Victorian Railwayman’s Church and the Country Park. Other attractions may also be open.
