Take a trip down memory lane as we display a selection of original characters models, production props and more from the 1980’s children’s TV series TUGS.

On 6th & 7th April, there will be displays at both Butterley and Swanwick Junction including a Spot The Tug trail and activity area, as we celebrate 35 years since Tugs was first broadcast!

Experience the way travel used to be with a train ride through the wonderful Derbyshire countryside on one of the Midland Railway – Butterley’s heritage Diesel Multiple Unit trains (108).

Trains depart from Butterley at: 11.00am, 11.50am, 12.40pm, 2.00pm & 2.50pm

Get off the train at Swanwick Junction and explore the Museum Complex, where you will be able to visit the Demonstration Signal Box, Victorian Railwayman’s Church and the Country Park. Other attractions may also be open.

Trains return from Swanwick Junction at:  11.35am, 12.25pm, 1.15pm, 2.35pm, 3.25pm & 4.00pm.

Parking at Butterley Station is FREE.
