Details

Start: 25/05/2024 End: 27/05/2024

The Midland Railway – Butterley is marking the 150th anniversary of the Pullman Coaches, which were assembled in Derby.

Our achieve team are putting together an exhibition from the collection which includes early pictures of Pullman Coaches being assembled in Derby.

Plus, we are offering a limited and rare opportunity to go on a tour of the Pullman Coach in the Exhibition Hall. Times will be advertised on arrival and on a first come, first served basis.

Experience the way travel used to be with a train ride through the wonderful Derbyshire countryside on one of the Midland Railway – Butterley’s heritage Diesel Multiple Units (the 108). These trains have really large windows and so there is an excellent view all round. Plus you can see into the cab and see the driver in action, as well as the track ahead.
