Deeley’s Victorian Tearoom
Open on operational Days, Deeley’s Victorian Tearoom is located on the platform of Swanwick Junction Station. Serving filled sandwiches, cakes, a variety of snacks and hot and cold drinks.
Please note:- Deeley’s closes half an hour before the last train departs Swanwick Junction.
Also, an ideal venue for a get together with a group of family, friends or colleagues, it is a light and airy room, located in Swanwick Junction Station and caters for up to 50 people.
We offer a variety of options for pre-booked events, including afternoon teas and children’s parties (available on any day when trains are operating), other special family occasions and meetings.

Allport’s Emporium
Currently closed; a small selection of souvenir items is available from Deeley’s Victorian Tearoom or the Shop at Butterley Station.
Allport’s Emporium souvenir shop is located in the main Swanwick Junction Station building and offers a selection of chilled drinks, chocolates, crisps and ice creams in addition to a selection of souvenirs . A wider choice of souvenirs is available from the shop at Butterley Station.
Historical note: Allport’s emporium is named after Sir James Allport who became General Manager of the Midland Railway in October 1853 and Chairman of the Board of Directors in 1880.
