Start: 08/06/2024 End: 09/06/2024

Join us as we step back to the 1980s at the Midland Railway – Butterley on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th June.

Visitors will be met with a feel of the 80s as they arrive at Butterley Station and take the train to the Swanwick Junction site.

Once arriving at Swanwick, visitors can be met by THE icon of 80s films, Ecto 1!

Along with its very own Ghostbuster. Plus we have 80s theme arcade with retro arcade games of the era, 80s disco and 80s movie trailer and adverts show in the Church.

Plus, we have a special selection of models from the 1980s show Tugs.

Get off the train at Swanwick Junction and explore the Complex, where you will be able to visit the children’s play area, Victorian Railwayman’s Church, the West Shed and the Country Park. Other attractions may also be open.  (Please note that this is not possible on the 3.20pm departure.)
