Start: 12/07/2026 End: 12/07/2026

Join us on Sunday 12th July at Midland Railway – Butterley, the festival of transport will delight people of all ages.
The arena of the Swanwick Junction Museum complex will be filled with an array of visiting road vehicles, together with our resident collection, demonstrating the changes through time of a wide variety of road transport. There will be something to interest everyone, with vehicles from the 1920s to a more modern period.
This year we are once again joined “Tom Said” Micro-pub providing drinks to enjoy whilst exploring the site and watching “Little Wolf” play rock and pop classics from the 1960’s to the 2000’s plus originals.

The timetable for the day is to be confirmed.

We recommend arriving at Butterley no later than 13:30 if you wish to explore the museum complex at Swanwick Junction.

If you have a vehicle and would like to attend, booking forms will be available March 2026.
Advance bookings only.

Parking at Butterley Station is FREE.
